Abstract:
Time series of observations from Norwegian weather stations. The observations have been through the data collection system of the Norwegian Meteorological institute, which includes a number of automated and manual quality control routines. The number of available quality control routines is parameter dependent. Note that this is a live/dynamic dataset: New observations arrive (at a pace that depends on the station and parameter) and existing observations may be corrected (even some of the very old ones).Metadata Information

Time series of Air pressure at station level observations from the Norwegian weather station Gullholmen (WIGOS ID 0-20000-0-01460, station ID 17280). Air pressure at the station. The parameter is usually called QFE in aviation and shows the measured air pressure reduced to the reference height of the station. The observations have been through the data collection system of the Norwegian Meteorological institute which includes a number of automated and manual quality control routines. The number of available quality control routines is parameter dependent. Note that this is a live/dynamic dataset: New observations arrive (at a pace that depends on the station and parameter) and existing observations may be corrected (even some of the very old ones).License :

Time series of Wind direction observations from the Norwegian weather station Gullholmen (WIGOS ID 0-20000-0-01460, station ID 17280). Mean wind direction over the last ten minutes before the observation time. Wind direction is defined as the direction from which the wind blows and is registered in degrees, where 360 degrees is north and 90 degrees is east. . The observations have been through the data collection system of the Norwegian Meteorological institute which includes a number of automated and manual quality control routines. The number of available quality control routines is parameter dependent. Mean wind speed is registered as a mean value of the wind speed over the last ten minutes before the observation time. (default: 10 meters above ground, some stations have measurements at 2 meters). The observations have been through the data collection system of the Norwegian Meteorological institute which includes a number of automated and manual quality control routines.
