Direct Broadcast satellite data received at MET NORWAY Oslo from the satellite NOAA-21 instrument VIIRS. Data is from 2023-10-31T23:14:57Z to 2023-10-31T23:26:19Z. This contains the I-Bands. The data is processed by standard processing software to geolocated and calibrated values in satellite swath in received instrument resolution. The VIIRS instrument consist of the parts: M, I and DNB. The (M)edium resolution bands are 16 channels ranging from the visible parts of the spectrum through the near infrared to the infrared each with a spatial resolution of 750m. The h(I)igh resolution bands are 5 channels ranging from the visible parts of the spectrum through the near infrared to the infrared each with a spatial resolution of 375m. The (D)ay (N)ight (B)and is a broadspectrum visible channel sensitive to both refelected sun light at day and all visible lights at night.
