Time series of Mean wind speed observations from the Norwegian weather station Valle (WIGOS ID 0-20000-0-01444, station ID 40250). Mean wind speed is registered as a mean value of the wind speed over the last ten minutes before the observation time. (default: 10 meters above ground, some stations have measurements at 2 meters). The observations have been through the data collection system of the Norwegian Meteorological institute which includes a number of automated and manual quality control routines. The number of available quality control routines is parameter dependent. Note that this is a live/dynamic dataset: New observations arrive (at a pace that depends on the station and parameter) and existing observations may be corrected (even some of the very old ones).
