Time series of Wind direction observations from the Norwegian weather station Kleiven (WIGOS ID 0-20000-0-01439, station ID 41175). Mean wind direction over the last ten minutes before the observation time. Wind direction is defined as the direction from which the wind blows and is registered in degrees, where 360 degrees is north and 90 degrees is east. . The observations have been through the data collection system of the Norwegian Meteorological institute which includes a number of automated and manual quality control routines. The number of available quality control routines is parameter dependent. Note that this is a live/dynamic dataset: New observations arrive (at a pace that depends on the station and parameter) and existing observations may be corrected (even some of the very old ones).
